Cow Colostrum for Allergies?

ok, so wondering if anyone has tried this because we are getting desperate with allergues.  My husband and daughter have been miserable and our pediatrician, who I really love, suggested that Brad try colostrum in pill form for his allergies.  She says she has had really good luck with it personally and with patients.

 Anyone else try this or have any thoughts?
