Would this craft work for toddlers?

Saturday I have a playdate at my house, and there will be a 20 mo old, 22 mo old, and 18 mo old.?

Do you think they could do a snowman craft like this? We moms would lay out the glue for them, and help them paste the cotton balls and felt on.

Yes they should be able to do it. We do crafts everyday and recently made one like this with marshmallows. Henry was able to put them onto the lines of glue. Looks cute... have fun!! :~)

My DS made one at daycare last month.  She helped him, but he was able to do a decent amount once he got the hang of it.

Depends on the kid.  I have friends with a 23 month old, 22 month old and 20 month old and we often go to this little free-play art class with the boys.  Some of the kids that age will sit with their moms and do the craft, some of them (mostly the boys) just glue stuff on one another (or try to eat the glue) and throw the craft stuff around.  Usually my son and a few of the other boys end up in the section where they have some toy cars and blocks and just play with those toys instead of doing anything art related. 

I think it's worth a try though!!!

My kid would not be able to do it and she's eighteen months old. But I have seen other eighteen month olds and twenty month olds do crafts like this. It just depends on the kid.

Every time I see "craft" threads, I think of pulling toys out of pillowcases.  baaahahah.
