I'm terrified of throwing up

I seriously have like an irrational fear of throwing up and/or being around anyone who is throwing up.  Of course I knew it was part of the package when I decided to have a kid.  But I somehow managed to make it through a whole pregnancy and 18+ months of DS's life without having to face it.  Reading all these posts has me really nervous and queasy.

ETA: DS has obviously spit up before, but I am talking about actual "big boy" puke.

me too.  the only times he's thrown up, he was only on formula.  I'm scared of the next time.

Oh my gosh me too. Once my niece told me she didn't feel good. That her neck hurt. She was 3 at the time. I was like well lets go lay down and she threw up all over the floor in the hallway. My DH had to clean up because I was showering her off Gagging from the smell. I can not imagine being thrown up on. I might throw up back on my poor DS.

YUCKY for sure.

I haven't thrown up since I was 8.  I am 29.  My appendix ruptured when I was 12, I got through college and 1.5 pregnancies (so far) with no throwing up.  I am horrified at the thought, BUT I actually did okay the couple of times DS has done it!  DH gags, but I didn't freak out like I used to when the kids I babysat for would do it.

you have no idea....i am a paranoid mess with all of these viruses going around it is my biggest anxiety..ugh
