LO w/swollen lymph node in groin area?

Anyone's LO have this? I was changing DD's diaper before and noticed 2 lumps at her hip joint closest to her groin (but on the top of her leg, if that makes sense. Right where the edge of her diaper would be on the front.)

Anyway, I made an appt w/the doc first thing but in the meantime I fell victim to google... It said something about either a hernia or a swollen lymph node.

She is acting fine and ate a ton of food today (which is unusual for her. lol)  She did just have a double ear infection (she finished her antibiotics on Saturday) but it's so far away from her ears so I dont know if it's that. No fever or other general odd behavior. I pressed on it and it's about the size of a chick pea and there is a smaller one next to it about the size of a pea.

My DS had these as well and I was worried. Like you I googled and figured it was swollen lymph nodes. I mentioned it to pedi and next visit and they said indeed it was.

she may have a uti?  swollen lymph nodes means her body is trying to fight off an infection.
