Question
I have a question about the Answe brand OPK's. I am supposed to start testing today but was wondering if you really had to do it the same time every day. The reason I ask is because DH is doing shift work and every 7 days he is on a different shift so I was trying to find a time to do it that would fit with his schedule. Would it be okay if I tested this afternoon and then tomorrow morning started again and from then on do morning? Thanks. I am just not sure about these things and don't want to waste any.

its better to do it at least once a day at the same time.
so you should be fine doing that. I was doing it twice a day when I was ttc because I was afraid I'd miss my short window.

And no, I wouldnt schedule your OPK testing on your DH's schedule since it wont matter if he's there or not for it. Either you get a + or you dont.
Heh? Why does your DH need to be there when you pee on an O stick?
But to answer your question, yes, it's best to do it around the same time each day so you don't miss your surge. They say your second morning pee is best. I'd usually limit what I drank between waking up and about 10am, then test.

Yep, usually just once. If the result was unclear or I was feeling particularly impatient, I'd test again later, but for the most part I just stuck with the morning test. Even if it was questionable, I assumed it was positive and we "did the thang".
