This is my third morning in a row having my hot chocolate bought by the dude in front of me in line. Granted, most of the time they are old enough to be my dad, but still pretty sweet.
My AW? I've got a job interview this morning. Another interview where they called me, not one where I applied. Like the last, it's not necessarily something I'd be interested in taking at the expense of my writing, but damn it's nice to be asked. Especially since this one would let me WAH.
But if nothing else? Adult conversation for half an hour or so. No Dora or Wonder Pets in sight. Bliss!
DS matched up all the letters to spell the word COW last night. He's got a set of letter blocks with a mat that has words on it where you place the blocks on top of the individual letters to spell the word.
By no means does he know how to spell anything but I was pretty proud he could identify and match the letters. Although I think the W was a fluke.

I have only gained 2 lbs with this pregnancy so far. I know I have a long way to go but last time at this point I had gained 10. I'll report back at 30 weeks, lol
last week i began menu planning - i created a weekly menu and i stuck with it all week. i also began cleaning the kitchen daily (usually DH does it) AND kept up with the laundry. i am a terrible housekeeper so this is major! i have to step up my game since i will be a SAHM beginning feb 10th!
I can't stand the cuteness that exists between my two boys right now. DS#1 constantly loves/hugs/kisses DS#2, brings him all kind of toys, helps feed him his baby food, helps him with his sippy cup and just loves him to the moon and back. Of course DS#2 just eats it up and laughs and laughs at his big brother. It makes my heart melt that these boys love each other so much.

I already made a whole post about this but since it's ok to be an AW here...I'll talk about it again!
DD has used the potty twice! 1 pee and one poop. I am so excited that she is doing this all on her own. I have never asked if she wants to use the potty without her prompting me 1st. She asks multiple times a day and we go sit and read books while she tries...she hasn't quite figured out how to 'let go' but I can see her trying to do it lol.
Oh and I think she tried to say 'butterfly' yesterday. To me this is huge since she only has 4 words.
I don't have to work Monday, and am planning a girl's night out Sunday night! : )
That's all I've got.
That's awesome! And I'm very jealous.
I have anothe.r. My Mom, sister, and my niece are flying up here in March for Nicholas' 2nd birthday. My sister will stay for a week, my Mom and niece for 2 weeks. I'm super duper excited and am going to take off at least 1 week if not the full 2.

Seriously? How are you managing this? Are you going to Starbucks in a negligee? You dirty girl!

Great Lori! And really, there is nothing wrong with writing for Maxim magazine. Don't be such a snob.
I slept through the night last night and woke up earlier than I needed to this morning! It never happens that way. I also don't feel extremely tired this morning either!
DD blows kisses to us when we ask her to and she doesn't give opened mouth kisses anymore. No more slobbery kisses!

Nope, apparently I attract truck drivers and construction workers at our local gas station, though.
I grew my business by 25% from 2009-2010, in a sucky economy, and got a great client review!
DD can name all of our extended family members by just seeing pictures, 10 Sesame Street characters, and 4 colors (yellow, purple, red and white). She has also figured out how to remove all of our childproof cabinet locking mechanisms!
Liam has STTN four nights in a row. I realize this isn't a big deal to most of you, but this is a really big deal for us. He only STTN a handful of times in his whole first year!
When DD and I were in California, DH cleaned the entire house and put up some of DD's toys to start making room for baby #2.
My DD is super smart. We have conversations. She amazes me.
I am 23 weeks pregnant and have only gained 7lbs. That is really good for me considering I gained a total of 70lbs weith DD. I just hope I can keep it up, or should I say down.

I had sex this morning and enjoyed it. Hell yea baby.
WTF is sex? I haven't had this in a long.long.long time.
LOL me neither but honestly I'd rather get a FREE hot chocolate.....LOL.
AW: we taught DS how to do the touch down sign and he says it as well. It's so cute, when we were watching the playoffs and the announcer said "TOUCHDOWN" he threw his hands up and ran around the room saying it. He also can do all the motions to patty cake, and it's too cute watching him "Roll it" and "Throw it in the oven".
Re: ATTENTION WHORE WEDNESDAY
Here are mine:
I am pretty proud DD has taken off with talking this week... She has always been chatty but now is getting conversational.
I am almost done with what I need to for my Baby Signs certification.
DH and I are going to finally go on our date day Thursday... and I will limp if I have to!
I have gained 23 lbs. and am 33 weeks pregnant. I'm very proud of keeping my weight gain in control.
My DD is adorable and so kind to other kids.
Sweet.

LOL I almost forgot what good sex was. I am so happy I actually have a sex drive with this pg. Lillian just about killed that for me.
Great Lori! And really, there is nothing wrong with writing for Maxim magazine. Don't be such a snob.
I started my diet and exercising yesterday and lost 3.5 pounds!
I am so impressed with Ethan's language skills... He is speaking in 2-3 word sentences and everyone can understand him.
Yesterday he said:
go nite, nite, Momma
Kenzie out bye (take the dog for a walk)
More apple Momma
More milk bottle Momma
elmo stuck
all done up Momma
shoes on
no stuck down!
I actually have a girls night planned on Friday night - and DH is going to watch DD so I don't have to bring her along for once!
DD said, "Snuggle me, Mommy!" last night when I was laying her down for bed. My heart melted!
DH remembered when he was at the gas station to pick up my favorite brand of gummy bears as a suprise.

Ask the guys buying the hot chocolate. I'm sure they'd be happy to explain.
