advice please - possible new job

If anyone of you have ready my previous posts about the potential new job on the horizon ... I am now waiting to see if this job even opens up.  I am trying to be very patient but I can't help but think/worry about it.  I know.. I know ... it does no good to do this. 

After my boss called the woman in charge of hiring yesterday, she said she would be in touch with my boss - when/if the position does open up.  She did tell my boss that they gave the girl who has the job until the first of February to make a decision.

So I am wondering - in the meantime - should I email the woman hiring - she knows me - just a little email that says something like " please let me know if you need anything - internal resume - etc. I look forward to hearing from you. ????

I just wish I had patience!!  Should I send her a message this week - next week - or just hang tight??? Advice please.  TIA

I would wait. She knows that you are interested in the job and you do not want to bother her by sending another message. I would wait until the first of Feburary and contact her.
