Trip and fall... followed by a trip to L&D.

Walking into my house this evening I missed the curb falling forward. I managed to turn my body and took the brunt of the fall on my hip and my palm onto the concrete. Ouch!

I remembered the last appointment I had when my OB said to me "Just remember, if you have a fall call L&D immediatly" So that's what I did. After 4 hours of monitoring, an ultrasound, and an internal I am finally home. All is well, baby looks great. I am not dilated at all, but am 40% effaced. That internal was not fun though!

So I am sore and VERY tired, but glad this was a false alarm.

I am SO happy to hear you are doing okay and LO is good to go....well I"m sure you have some bruises on that hip and palm. In 1st tri I did the same thing but ended up breaking my right wrist...no fun!

Today must be the day for falls... Saw a post earlier about a girl falling down the stairs...And, I fell down the stairs today too. Just two stairs and took the brunt with my wrist...ouch!
