a post shower question

ok i know I have seen it before here but does anyone recall a list noting the suggested number of outfits/onesies to keep for LO in the various sizes... we received a ton of newborn and 0-3 months and would like to exchange some for some older sizes (but don't want to deplete the supply too much)

The book BRU gave me when I registered says

 in various sizes 9-12 bodysuits; 4-6 side snap shirts; 4-6 pullover shirts; 6-8 stretch sleep 'n play; 3 gowns
