Bleeding after Internal? TMI

I had an internal exam this morning and was dilated 2 cm and 60% effaced. When my OB was done, he told me that I would have some spotting and its normal. When I got home I was bleeding, but it was bright red. I have been home for 5 hours and I'm still bleeding bright red and a little while ago I passed what i guess what you would call some sort of tissue. Not what i would expect my MP to look like. I am wondering what you ladies would consider normal bleeding after an internal exam.

not that kind IMO. I was told a little bit was normal or one or two smears on a tissue when you wipe, if it was anything more than that to call them..this from the L&D delivery nurse last week. Did your DR. strip your membranes? I'd call, better safe then sorry.

the doctor didn't say that he stripped my membranes. The baby is still moving all around so I don't really know what to think. My Doc is gone for the day so I will have to call L&D. And my L&D always says just come in. I guess its better to be safe than sorry.
