Stupid Pack N play!!

Ugh...I have a pack and play from when DD was born (she's 4).  It's been set up and checked out since about 25 weeks pregnant in the nursery.  Yesterday I go to move it into our room and now one of the sides won't snap back into place. 

DH (being the man that he is) wants to cut the fabric so he can see why it won't snap.  Ummm no.

I hate that I used this for about 4 months and stored it under great conditions and now the stupid thing craps out right after I'd decided to keep it!

    That sucks!!!

    I would put it away, calm down and then come back to it later.  Maybe it's something really simple. :(

    It might be a problem with the order that you snapped each side up. I've run into that with a few pack N plays. Try breaking it back down and putting the sides up in a different order.

    did you try pulling the middle floor section up and then popping all the sides together? i had a similar issue and thats all i had to do, but boy was it frustrating.

    Are you sure the bottom legs aren't pushed down into place? That's the only reason the sides won't snap into place when I set it up.

    i know it took us forever to figure out ow to get ours up this weekend...did you make sure that the middle was pulled up when you were trying to snap the sides into place?  that was what we were missing at first...

    I tried snapping it with the middle up...then with the middle down.  I haven't tried reversing the order of snapping.

    Mine did that too when I went to set it up. I ended up just spraying WD-40 in there hoping it would hit the hinge. haven't had any problems since.... I still want a new pnp though-the one I have is so outdated. I got it from my aunt who used it with her son, he's 7 now

    Ya, there is always ONE side that won't snap into place. It's so frustrating.  It shouldn't so so difficult.  

    I don't know the trick, but we can normally get it after fighting with it for 20 minutes.
