I'm already frustrated w/ registry & haven't even started

While shopping w/ my mom yesterday, I thought I'd peak through the baby aisles @ Target & Walmart just to see what they had since DH & I will be registering very soon.  I was not overly thrilled w/ my options for some items, mostly just because of the colors since we are team green & everything seems to be blue/pink.  And I don't even want to think about BRU since I've had 2 bad experiences there recently w/ their customer service.  I'm sure it'll all turn out just fine, I'm just not super excited @ the moment.

I felt the same way!  Target is really bad about stocking gender-neutral stuff.  Also, I was frustrated because the stuff that Target and Wal-Mart have available for purchase in-store is generally not the type of thing I want (example: they have Infantino carriers, but I want an Ergo.)  I ended up doing an Amazon.com registry because it's the only way to get some of the stuff I want, but a lot of my relatives aren't too keen with the whole online shopping thing.  I have a feeling I'll be getting a ton of diapers and baby shampoo!

LOL!  I would love to register online instead to get more of the stuff I like, but I know I will never get any of it because my family/friends are not online shoppers either.  Oh well...just have to wait & see what happens @ the shower & go from there.
