Medela PISA question about the Metro vs Shoulder Bag

I'm getting a discount on a Medela PISA breast pump and the choices are either the PISA - The Metro Bag or the PISA Shoulder Bag.  The Metro has the removable pump feature but it's $50 more.  Trying to decide if this feature is worth the money.  I will be returning to work.  Any opinions/suggestions welcome.

Re: Medela PISA question about the Metro vs Shoulder Bag

  • I have the Metro.  I think it would be a giant PITA to not be able to remove the pump.  I'd pay the extra $50...I did, actually.  Smile

  • I have the Freestyle and LOVE that the pump is so small (not tied into a bag).

It makes it easier to take with me and to pump on the go.

  • I have a PISA that I bought in the fall.  It's a shoulder bag and the pump part is removable.
  • I have the PISA, and don't have any reason to remove the pump from the bag.  Although, it is possible to remove it - it's only velcroed around the edges and stuck in it.  But again, I'm not sure why I'd want to take it out.

  • I have the shoulder bag and Love it. I can't imagine wanting to remove the pump. I carry everything I need in the bag and the front just zips down to pump, then I zip it back up.
