3rd Trimester

Might be over prepaired, but its kinda nice

My son's new room is finished, he's moved in and loves his toddler bed. That was what I really worried about, because that was a big change for him. Also, I have baby clothes washed and hung, baby cloth diapers on order, enough laundry and hand soap for about a year lol, tons of food stocked up, closets and rooms organized, and I'm making frozen meals all this week.

Wow, I'm on nesting overload!

  • I took advantage of some Costco coupons the other day and stocked up as well. I know we'll still have to do some shopping in the first few weeks but I figured why not stock up so that we can just spend time enjoying our new little family.

I was thinking the same thing, plus, its really cold in IL and I don't want to bring baby out. I wish we had a Costco by us, I dont' really like Sams!

  • Hehe.  I'm sooooo there with you.  Rooms are all set.  I have so much food, I don't think we'll need to shop or cook for a month (other than milk and juice).  And I've been working on cleaning and organizing everything.  I just don't want to worry about anything house related with two!  Especially since DH won't be able to stay home for very long after LO is born.
  • I just went through my Costco coupons and will be headed there this week.  I started stocking up on food at Target today and that will be a slow deal for me.
  • Me too - though I'm not as prepped as I was w/ DS#1 . . . we still have a little list.  But I have 5 freezer dinner meals, 1 breakfast, and I have food to make probably 3 more meals.  I've started stock piling anything that won't perish - granola bars, toilet paper, etc.  The baby's room is done - just have to raise the crib mattress and finish his name letters.  DS#1 has been in his new room since Nov, but we still have to hang things on the walls.  Baby clothes are washed and in the drawers, all the bouncy seats, swing, etc are cleaned and set up.  Car seat is in the car.  I just have finish cleaning my family room, organize our pantry and then I think I can relax!  Two and 1/2 weeks to go - if he stays in another week I'll be happy : )
