what did you do for 2nd bday

DS's bday is coming up, thinking about a 'car' party because he is obsessed with cars. i was thinking about making a cake with a 'road' on it and putting cars on it. any other ideas???

 

what time of day did you do yours? how was it planned? ds is the only grandkid so if we just have family its not like there are a lot of kids for him to play with. his first bday was not too much fun, just stress and im hoping this one will be better...

    we didn't have a party for his second. we had dinner (with cupcakes and gifts) at the ILs, and went out for pizza with my family. his birthday is in the middle of the holidays, so this was just easier for us.

    we are planning a party at 11 at our house for about 15 family members. we are doing a tinkerbell party next weekend so hopefully it will go well

    We did a Dora the Explorer themed 2nd Birthday. My DD loved it and we got 2 awesome cakes from Wal-mart.
