Hi ladies! Just hopping over from 2nd tri to ask a quick question. We're in the process of registering and I plan to breastfeed so am wondering what I need in addition to a breast pump. I know I need some sort of bag or bottle to store the milk, but what other accessories would you recommend having on hand? I'll be home the first 12 weeks then will head back to work full time and will pump there during the day. I do plan to take a breastfeeding class, but it's not until April, so any advice you have would be helpful. Thanks!

I would get a good breastfeeding book so that you will have a better since of how the whole thing works.  Lansinoh storage bags seem to be best - you want bags specific for breastmilk storage.  If you plan to pump a lot, you may want to buy extra collection bottles (your pump likely comes with some.

Nursing pads (I like the Johnson & Johnson ones the best,) storage bags, nursing tanks, nursing cover (I use mine everyday at work or when I pump in the car,) and car charger for when you're on the go.
