If anyone's in the market for a double-electric, I found the Lansinoh pump (it's the Ameda Purely Yours marketed under the Lansinoh name) for $103 marked down from $148 @ Target.
I'm squicked out by used breast pumps. . . sorry, it's one of my hang-ups
I used an Avent manual pump for a YEAR with Gretchen and I'm treating myself this time (since I'll probably have to get up and pump before teaching my 6 am aerobics class).
I did the same thing w/the avent with Sam. In some ways it works better than the electric, but I was SO glad to have the electric double with Bryan for pumping at work.
The Avent worked awesome. I had the best grip strength and forearms of steel by the end of that year LOL, but because I will likely need to pump a little more than once a day (which is what I did with Gretchen), I thought I should get the double. The Avent will still get plenty of use, I'm sure since it worked so well.
