Tested and loved Salmon recipes?

I know I can find a ton online, but I wanted to ask you ladies for ones you have tried and love.  DH's bday is tomorrow and I'm cooking him his favorite, salmon.  I'm not a fan, so I don't make it often, but wanted to do it for his bday dinner.  Thanks!

  • DH makes great salmon. He just adds olive oil and tony's cajun seasoning and grills it. Everyone requests his 'recipe' :)

  • If you have a Costco membership I would go get their stuffed salmon.  It is fantastic.  I put a little butter in a baking dish and sprinkle them with Old Bay before cooking them.  Especially if you are not a big salmon fan this would be great.

I live in Germany, we don't have  Costco. :(  Thanks though!

I would love to grill it, but it's freaking FREEZING here and I love my husband, but I"m not going to freeze my butt off for salmon!

I could grill the salmon inside though, that sounds good with Tony's.  Thanks!  keep em coming!

  • I mix lemon juice, dill, dijon mustard, pepper and a dash of olive oil together.  I brush is over the salmon and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.

Then I bake it in a foil packet in the oven at 350 for 20-40 minutes (depending on thickness).  Simple and yummy!

That's just like mine, minus the dijon.  That's a very good idea. :)

  • DH and I both love making salmon this way: I make foil packets, and spray the bottom with PAM. Then I put the salmon skin-side down, spray the whole thing with PAM, then cover it with Lemon Pepper Mrs. Dash. Then I top it with very thinly sliced carrots and zucchini, sometimes red potatoes too. Then I put one small pat of butter on top and close the packet. I put the packets on a baking sheet and bake at 375 for about 15-20 minutes. It comes out delicious!!!

  • I love it plain and simple: salt and pepper, broil (5-6 min per side), garnish with fresh lemon.

  • I sprinkle with olive oil, lots of lemon pepper and some salt. Bake at 400 for 18 min. Squirt with fresh lemons before you serve. Simple and delish!
