DS had an AWFUL day today

OMG, he's been so fussy all day, crying unless he was being held.  We put him to bed and he slept for about an hour, and now he's screaming again.  DH went up there to try to get him calmed down...I don't know what to do.  He has an ear infection, this is his 3rd day on antibiotics and I gave him Tylenol before I put him down (per pedi's instructions). Not sure what else I can do.

Ugh, I hate when he's so upset and I can't fix it.

I'm sorry, but I also completely understand!  If he is still the same way tomorrow, I would call the pedi about changing the antibiotic.  DD has had an ear infection for going  on 3 weeks!  We're on our fifth antibiotic!

Which one is he on?

Which one is he on?

Amoxicyllin (sp?).  He had one about 6 weeks ago and was on the same one, and it worked.  Maybe it's too soon to use it again?

Yea, DD had a double ear infection around thanksgiving and we used amoxycillin for 10 days.  We're thinking now that the one in the right ear never went completely away, and we were back at the pedi the Monday before Christmas.  We then went to Omnicef, then Augmentin (allergic reaction to it), then Biaxin, and now 3 days in a row of Rocephin shots at the pedi's office.
