Yeah, I guess I can't complain because she's only been to the vet a few times since she's been born! It was just bad timing with Christmas, hosting houseguests, bills for 2 ER visits, hosting a wedding shower and the upcoming wedding! I declare myself broke!

I hear that, knock on wood at our house.....going to give the dog a vitamin.
We recently spent $1,300 on one of our cats.
And that's not including the $350 ultrasound that I said no to. I think it
was totally unnecessary and they were just looking to make more $.

Yes, they wanted a lot more but I got them down from $300 to $50 for her teeth. I decline the test to see if the tumor was benign-she so old I don't think it would matter. They also used a cat traq/drug instead of a dog one since she is on the small side.
yeah, I just spent $100 on a vet visit to be told my dog is fat and that the rash dh is so worried about is, indeed, just chaffing. dh was worried it might be something contagious. Why does the man not listen to me???
My girl Bailey has 10k in her LEGS!!! She tore her acrutiate (sp?) which is like the equiv. to our ACL...once 1 goes the other is bound to go from all the pressure of the 1st...but they told me wouldnt prob happen for YEARS! She was only 3yrs old so I went ahead with the surgery and 3mos later she tore the other one! UGH!! $5k ea leg!!....Fast fwd to now...5 years later and theyre starting to bother her, I can tell! My poor girl!

Poor pooch! I hope she's feeling better!
And I know you hate to hear this, but that really was a pretty good deal.
