MIL vent.....freaking nutso
DH and I went to Houston for Christmas. We didn't visit his dad's brother b/c he's a jerk. Apparently he's very offended and called to complain to the following people: three of his brothers, FIL (so his 4th brother), my dad, and my uncle (who was the whole reason for our visit to Houston). He never called us though. So DH calls his mom to find-out what's going on. (I found-out all this from my mom.)
DH: Mom, I'm sorry he's calling everyone. We just couldn't go visit him b/c it didn't workout.
MIL: Yes, we even tried to tell him that you're too busy to even visit us 
DH: Okay either way, sorry he keeps calling you.
MIL: Well other people are also concerned that you don't keep in touch with the family and don't return calls.
DH: What are you talking about? Uncle #1 and #2 are teh only ones who call and I've called them both back.
MIL: Uncle #3 said you wouldn't let them visit you when LO was born.
DH: Because he was too young and wanticecream wasn't ready to see peopel right away because it was hard due to teh c-section. (let me just interject by saying that it's hard to have Indian people over because you have to make food/Indian tea and properly host them....regardless of how you're feeling!!)
MIL: Well it was also conerning to peopel that you didnt' seem to care when Uncle died.
DH: What are you talking about? I worked teh overnight and still went straight to the hospital to see him. When he died, I went straight there too. Who is saying all this?!?!
MIL: I can't tell you because I am not in the proper mind.
DH: What does that mean? Just tell me the names.
MIL: I have to verify with my proper sources and check on a few things before i release that information.
SERIOUSLY?!?! WOMAN IS NUTS!

I also am laughing at the random 'wanticecream' in the middle of the conversation! How did that get in there?!
