Babies: 9 - 12 Months

s/o of dogs... Mine is nuts.. anyone else have a puggle?

Our puggle (half pug half beagle) lives to eat... he will do ANYTHING to get food. His most recent trick involves using the bar stool to jump up on to the counter... walks across the sink, across the stove, and opens the cabinet with all the snacks in it!!! He is a freak of nature. So far he finished a loaf of bread, a box of saltines, and a roll of ritz crackers. He needs rehab.

  • my mom has one and he is a ball of crazy energy lol, but so so cute!

  • My BIL had one of these for a while!  He was so ugly he was cute haha.
  • We have a boxador that can stand up on her hind legs and reach up on the counters.....she recently ate a pound of gummy bears....
  • omg your dog and my gizzmo could be bff's!

he jumped on the kitchen chair, onto the table across the dishwasher, through the sink (with dishes in it) and ate a PLATEFUL of lemon drop cookies. he even neatly pulled back the saran wrap!

our doggies need to go to over eaters annonomous.

  • my former coworker has one and has spent thousands this year getting things surgically removed from his body that he has eaten.

nothin like picking up a dog at daycare and having them hand you your undies in a plastic bag...

so i dont think we'll be getting one of those kind anytime soon.  lol.

  • We have a puggle and we adopted her and she was huge. She was so fat that she had to roll on her back to scratch because her hind leg wouldn't reach around her body Sad

We put her on a diet (per the vet) and then she ended up with diabetes and cataracts from the diabetes.

It might be "cute" and whatnot for dogs to eat human food, but not to the extreme that our dog's previous owners obviously let her eat.

Poor thing now gets insulin shots 2x a day and gets to eat 4x a day and is on prescription dog food. She is still VERY food-driven and acts like she hasn't eaten in a week every.time.we.feed.her.

It's annoying with the clippity of her nails on the hardwood floors 4x a day. She's the only reason I wish we had carpet.

this breaks my heart! woodson (our puggle) eats a ton (not from us over feeding him, but from his kick a$$ creativity) so we are super religious about getting him exercise to keep his weight as healthy as possible

ooooh the infamous undie eating!!! we have lost many, many pairs of undies to this dog. nothing like going to pick up his poo on a walk and going "wait, why is his poo hot pink?? ooooh, that's where that pair went!"

  • oh yes. both my pups chew on my ginch. thankfully they don't eat it but man oh man they have even learned how to OPEN my suitcase to get them out.
