DS will not nap for DH (SAHD). Any ideas?

I've tried suggesting everything under the sun.  DS naps fine for me on the weekends, but only naps for maybe 20-30 minutes twice a day for DH.  I'm already stressed out at work and would love to stay home with him so the texts in the afternoon telling me DS won't sleep and can I leave early don't help at all. 

DH stays home with him so he can finish school (finished in December) and join the Army.  He's got 10 lbs to lose before he goes to see the recruiter.  Once in we'll switch rolls and I'll stay home.

I do as much as I can, I get up early to get myself ready for work and take care of DS in the morning (get him dressed and fed), I wake DH 20 minutes before I have to leave and take over as soon as I get home from work while he goes to the gym.  I don't know where I'm going with this exactly now, just needed to vent I guess. 

Any ideas on how to get DS to nap for DH?

Well, I would start with explaining the process you go through to get DS to nap in detail to your DH.  Hopefully if he follows the same steps, he'll get the same results.  Maybe not... but it is worth a try!

DH is with DD for her only nap of the day.  He had a tough time in the beginning but now he just lets her play it out, she whimpers a little when she gets tired and then she's out for a 1.5-2 hour nap.  It's their routine, she goes down around the same time everyday and it's worked for the past several months.  Good luck!

My DH is also a SAHD.  When he goes to put DD down for a nap, he lets her fuss for a few minutes, then gives her a bottle.  She usually falls asleep before the end of the bottle.  This is also how we put her to sleep at night.  I don't know if it would work for you, but it does for us.  Best of luck!
