Re: *Trixie*

  • If it is nap time, we'd just take the car seats in the restaurant and leave them in them and they would sleep the whole time. But now that they are getting older, they wake up and don't want to stay in them, so we thought we'd try the highchairs. Went better than I expected. It probably would have been even better if I had a teething biscuit or something to occupy their hands, but I wasn't that prepared. It was kind of a last minute decision.

We did an early dinner...4:30-5:30 so that they were full, happy, not nap time. They were awesome the first thirty minutes. Just looked around and smiled at everyone. Then they just started getting bored. So we shuffled them around a little and I had to eat with one hand for some of my meal, but that's nothing new. Then, when we left they had their usual 5:30 cat nap ride home and we started their dinner and bedtime routine as usual!

Yeah if it is a noisy restaurant that would work! Those things are starting to get on my nerves at home already! And L just grabs it out of the holder and tosses it the second he sees it. A will play with it a while at least.
