I loved my experience there as well, especially the nurses!  I'm really happy to read the comments on that forum, especially with how recent they are.  A friend of mine heard a rumor that there had been an exodus of the nurses to Northwest hospital.

 So you were able to go natural there?

Hoping I can go natural there too.

I had a pregnant coworker who was saying it wasn't any good there...and was going to First Hill. But she hadn't actually experienced giving birth there, and was pretty harshly opinionated about everything, large or small. DH and I come from small towns...so I'm thinking Ballard will jive better with our style (haven't enjoyed our First Hill trips when we've gone in there for u/s).

Thanks for posting that, we have been debating Ballard or First Hill and that makes me feel better about Ballard. I guess I need to learn the abbreviations though, I got really concerned when I first saw your subject, thinking that the F/U stood for something else....
