I am starting my (almost) 3-year-old in dance on Saturday. It is no-commitment, so the first class is sort of a test run. Therefore I was told not to buy dancewear for the first class, and I can buy stuff afterwards if we decide to stick with the classes.
I know one of you ladies said you actually teach little kid's dance, so maybe you or someone else can help me answer this -
Where can I find good price toddler dancewear? I am talking leotard, tights, ballet slippers, tap shoes. I am sure the dance studio sells it, but I'm not sure if it will be really expensive there, or if I can find it somewhere else for really cheap? (I'm referring to chain type stores - I'm sure we have dance stores around here but I'm pretty sure they have high prices as well).
Re: Toddler dance class / dance wear
Ditto Target. They are in the girls section, so the smallest I have seen is a girls XS, which typically is a 4/5 - but my 4 yo needed a S this year because the XS she wore last winter was too small.
(She does gymnastics, but I buy a leotard with legs to avoid showing her panties!)
