Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Does anything get these stains out?

I don't really understand because DD has been on the same formula since she was 1 month old .. but her bibs have started getting these yellow stains around the neck.  It's not from her veggies.

Regardless, I've tried Shout gel, Spray n Wash, OxiClean and a Clorox bleach pen.. none have worked.

Is there anything else I should try?

  • I soak just about all of W's clothes once a week in 1/4 c. oxyclean dissolved in about 1/2 a gal. of HOT water.  Usually helps!

Be careful, though, because oxyclean can eat away at delicate clothes.

  • Sounds like it is time to buy new bibs!
  • If Spray N Wash doesn't get it out, it's probably not going to come out.  (I use Shout Gel on stains on darker items, and Spray & Wash on lights and whites.)

Yep, we buy them all the time - trying to save some money.

Meh, most of Logan's bibs are stained.  I don't rush them to soak with the stain remover like I do his clothes.  In fact, I usually don't even treat them with stain remover at all...  he does have a couple "nice" bibs for out and about.

  • i just don't worry about it.  we ended up buying the "plastic" bibs for him because those can wash off right away and dry before his next meal.  cheaper all around

  • We use this stuff called LA's Awesome. It works wonders on stains. I buy it at the dollar store. :)

  • Try Clorox 2 for Colors.  Gets all of my baby and non baby related stains out.  I usually pre soak the stains for a bit and then I put some in with every load I wash.
