DD sounds congested-meds?

DDs voice sounds a little hoarse and congested..shes been fighting sleep the past 2 days but otherwise doesnt act off. What do you do when LO is congested? TIA

we keep a cool humidifier in DD's room and try and keep it on all the time, but we make sure to put in on nightly when she's congested.  You could also sit with her in a steamy bathroom for 10 or so minutes.

I've had great success with the Little Noses saline drops, too.

 Saline drops in the nose.  Wait a few minutes and then use a bulb syringe to suck out any mucus.  A humidifier in her room might be nice too and push fluids to thin the mucus.

Meds are no longer recommended for children under the age of 2.

Humidifier and saline drops are all you can do.  Cold meds are not recommended for any child under the age of 2 (or 4 or 5 or 6 depending on which studies you read).
