dry, dry skin

is anyone else having very dry itchy skin since BFing??  my face is breaking out and the rest of my body is SO dry.  and that is with me drinking lots of water day & night.......

It's not so much a result of BFing, but of your hormones still being out of whack. 

I recommend using a non-comodogenic face soap such as Cetaphil on your face and applying a light weight moisturizer.  For you body use a moisturizing body wash.  I love Johnson and Johnson's Stress Melt Away.  I then apply Aveeno cream for extra dry skin (the baby one).  This helped me a tone.

Oh boy am I right there with you.  I didn't REALLY notice the dryness until it got really cold, but its is out of control.  I have dandruff, cracked lips, dry skin all over my body, brittle nails, and awful cuticles.  This is so out of the ordinary for me.  I am constantly using chapstick, dandruff shampoo, lotion etc.  Yay!

Oh and make sure you are drinking enough water each day.
