Ahhh, blessed normal routine. How I love you.

DH went back to work today, after 11 days off.

He gets squirrely after 2-3 days off, so I was pretty much ready to scream by the time this weekend started.

I am so sad DH went back to work today   We usually rarely see him during the week since he works such long hours. It was so relaxing and wonderful having him around to help out the past few weeks. I would be happy to be back to my gym routine, but all the snow made it way too slushy for DS and I to make the trek to the gym right now. I am all around bummed.

Devon, it was nice to have our meals as a family and all, but the one thing that drives me the craziest is that DH will get annoyed by something and take the kids' TOYS away from them and put them up where they can't reach them.

So then they get into stuff like pens and the newspaper and that REALLY gets him worked up. Then he tries to put them down for naps they don't need, because he wants the break, and gets frazzled when they scream bloody murder.

Then I get stressed.

He's not that great with small kids, in case you haven't guessed. Bigger ones, great, but babies and toddlers, not so much.

Uh yeah, I would find that annoying, too  I just like when DH is here because I will wander upstairs and hide in the bedroom to read for a bit - and no one bothers me!!!!  Heaven.
