First- Best book to read during pregnancy to prepare for breastfeeding? I don't have alot of time to read but would love one great book that covers it all!
Second-I read I shouldn't be wearing underwires anymore because it can hinder my breastmilk production. When should I start buying nursing bras/bras without underwires? I would rather just buy nursing bras than a whole new set of bras now and after birth. When did you switch over? Best bra that will work through many sizes? Right now I'm a C but I have no idea how big I'll get post-p so I'd love a bra that can fit a few different sizes.
Thanks ladies!
Re: 2 BF Questions...
I really liked So That's What They're For! It's very pro-breastfeeding but I thought it was very helpful.
Not sure about the underwires while pregnant. I wore them the whole time but I also only went up about half a cup while pregnant, I got three of the $10 bras at Target to get me through. For right after you deliver I would suggest nursing tanks. They are so comfortable and most of them come s/m/l so that they will grow with you more. Once you do get nursing bras I love my Bravados.

1. The nursing mother companion
2. I was a D pre pregnancy and I'm an F now
I have a bravado wireless bra. I bought the best I could find because the last thing I wanted was a cheap bra. Bravado bras were recommended my LC. I really like them.
I didn't read any books, but did browse kellymom.com quite a bit and it was really helpful. There are certified LCs on their forums and its really nice when you have a question, but don't need to go through the trouble of scheduling an appt with an LC.
And I've never in my life heard of not wearing underwire bras while pregnant or nursing. Ever. My nursing bras are underwire - I abhor non-underwire bras... they just are not comfortable to me. I never had any supply issues - I had 150 ounces in the freezer when DS was 3 months old! Honestly, if you are most comfortable in underwire, I'd get underwire nursing bras - but I would try to only get one or two and wait to try them on until after baby arrives... you never know how big you're going to get when you are full. If you want a bra that will fit through a few different sizes, I'd get a C or a D in a nursing sports bra (my favorite is the Gilligan 7 O'Malley one from Target - so comfy!!)
