What do you dress your LOs in at night when we get this cold weather (for non- Florida moms it is in the 20s-30s at night)? And do you turn the heat on? What temp? I am so scared to let Cooper get cold, but I don't want to overheat him either!

well im a north florida mom and it was 26 when i woke up this morning? wtf? i live in florida???? i keep the heat on 68 during the day and 70 at night. we dont mind a bit of a chill. i dont take james out much but when i do i put him in pants and a long sleeved onesie. socks, shoes and a hat and wrap him in a blanket. we go to and from the car but not really outside a lot and our daily walks are out when its that cold. i try to keep it in layers because he gets warm when we are inside....hope that helps.
my DD is older than Cooper but we still bundle her up : tonight we hit Walmart and she wore a onesie, fleece pants, heavy socks and a fleece jacket with a hood. She runs quite warm though and she hates socks normally. For Cooper, I think layers is best as pp said.
I have been doing layers. I put him in a long sleeve onsie with the hand cuffs, and socks. Then warm pjs (the fleece kind), and we swaddle him in a recieving blanket, and put a crocheted (sp?) blanket over him. He doesn't seem to get too warm like this, but I still worry I will overheat him!

We are in Central Alabama and it has been highs in the 30's the last couple of days.
We always put the footy pj's on DD at night to sleep, heat on around 70-72, and we put a blanket on her but she usually rolls out from under it.
When we first brought her home we had the footy pj's and swaddled her, and usuall had another blanket and she did fine.
