Flange size ques

I know that if the flanges are too small they can cause problems, but what if they are too big? Can that cause any problems?

Too large of a breastshield can cause problems too.  This is the fitting information that I've used and found helpful.  I've been through 3 different size shields so far.

I had to go down a size. When I was only pumping occasionally it wasn't a big deal but once I started pumping more it really started hurting.
