Cajun used scrapblog to make her invites. She seemed to love them.
Do you have a Costco nearby? I used them for Sammie's birth announcements and our christmas cards last year. You can go right on their website and pick a design, upload pics and process the order. They are ready almost right away.. sometimes 1 hour if you do it during normal business hours. The quality was great.
As for themes...
Monkeys, Robots, Mickey Mouse, or just a color theme.?
I need recommendations for boy b-day themes, and where I can make my own photo invites...... please ( we are kind of pressed for time).
Shhhhh! Just hijack one of the useless one's already in progress. Hmmmm, I don't believe I have or will ever venture to Health and Exercise, use that one.
I would love a birthdays board too, especially when I was planning and getting like 2 people to respond
I don't think our invite place would be helpful to you (funandsassydesigns.com since it took a couple weeks to get the invites back, they were awesome but probably not in your timeline) however we did a luau theme since my DH is from Hawaii and a luau is customary for the 1st birthday (the 1st bday in Hawaiian culture is considered a big deal). Plus, I just think it's a cute theme...I actually combined luau stuff with 1st bday stuff. Here are pics.
Re: Why is there not a board for birthdays?
I made ours on scrapblog. I downloaded the jpg and then uploaded to shutterfly to print there. They turned out great!
As for themes...what does your son like to do? What are his favorite toys? Cars, etc...?
because this site doesnt need any more boards.
as far as making your own invites, how computer savvy are you? could you handle a graphics program like gimp? or you can try scrapblog.
a board for birthdays would be fantastic!
and ditto, what does he like?
We did a dinosaur theme. Tons of stuff at party city! I used evite since it was just close friends and family.
Also, I am not a great baker and got a great cake from Krogers that came with a free smash cake.
