Did your supply start to diminish at all around this time? LO is 8 1/2 months old and since last month my supply started dropping enough that I seriously cut down my freezer stash (I onlu have a few bottles worth left).
I pump the majority of the time and usually will nurse DD at night- I pump once in the morning (get about 7oz), 3 times at work (get about 10oz total) and then will either nurse DD or pump again at night (get about 3-4oz). DD drinks four 7oz bottles a day, so I am usually short by 1.
I tried power pumping, but it was hard to do while at work. So, now I am trying fenugreek. It seems to be working somewhat, but I've only been taking it for about a week. I know there probably aren't any other things I can do, but I was just curious if this was something everyone goes through, or if it is just me. TIA!
Re: Moms of 7-8 months old (supply ?)
Have you tried Oatmeal?
Oatmeal makes my cup runneth over
Same issue here, since AF actually. Supply hasn't gone back to normal, pretty sure it won't... Looking for the best formula that my son will accept. He's not liking the similac, enfamil, etc...
Actually, yes, AF did show up again in November. I never even thought that would cause my supply to drop. Will my supply only drop when AF is in town and then go back up when she leaves, or will it continue to be down now that my cycle is regulating?
I'll have to give oatmeal a try. Is it any kind? I'm not a big fan of any oatmeal other than the instant Apples & Cinammon. Will that work?
