elders...a question about peeing

I've noticed in the past week or so that it feels like my urine flow is slower. I still have to pee quite a bit, but it feels like it's not coming out as fast. Is this normal? Is it b/c LO dropped or something? I just thought this was a little odd. Hopefully it's normal or else I'll be making a call or talking to the doc about it next week!

I think you're generally referred to as an "elder" after 37 weeks.

I've noticed this starting this week, actually. But she's breech and up pretty high so I don't know the reason either...

Yeah, not only is my... flow... slower but when I have to go I really have to go. I think it's partly because he dropped and also he's just taking up so much darn room!

This.  Also, according to the nurse who put in my catheter last week, at this stage it gets very swollen in that area, which reduce/slow urine flow.

I think you're fine! I've found that if I don't lean forward when peeing I can't empty my bladder. It's usually because he's laying on my bladder or something.

I'm not an elder yet, but have definitely noticed this already. The flow is a lot slower than normal. So odd!
