Crazy Noises Coming from Down Stairs
We are having new windows put in on the first floor of our house right now and the windows down there are the original windows from when the house was built in the 1950. The installation guy said the only way to get them out is to break all the glass.
It is so loud! There are glass smashing sounds every few minutes...my kitty is so freaked out poor thing! It is a good thing I took our dog to my MIL.
It is going to be so nice to have windows that don't let all the cold air in...Super exciting.

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

Our second story was an addition in 90's so we have casement windows up here and it is so warm. (Well I know heat rises also.) But it is sooo cold downstairs.
Some people on our street won't get new ones because they like the charm of the original ones. However, I will trade in some charm for some savings on our electricity bill.

Ahh..what I wouldn't give for new windows. Our house was built in '73 and the windows are all original. We're thinking we might start to replace them one set of windows/sliding glass doors at a time. I hope your home improvement project turns out well!
