My DD looks like she got in a fight

she keeps scratching her face, despite my attempts to keep her nails short.  She has 4 on the left side, none on the right. God, I hope they don't leave scars.

  • My DS has the same problems. I clip his all the time and he still scratches himself. Also me!

  • we have this same problem...mostly scratching and clawing at his face in his sleep so we started putting socks on his hands at night and no more scratches! It's also nice because it keeps his hands nice and warm...
  • My DS does this also. It doesn't matter how well I keep up on cutting his nails. I thought he was exploring his face and enjoying his newly discovered hands.  I think maybe his face is dry and itches.  I try to keep him moisturized, it seems to help keep him from scratching and heals cuts.
  • DS does this and clipping his nails only makes them sharper and more effective weapons.  We just tell people he's in Baby Fight Club.

Bwahaha I love it! DD also looks like she took on a cat and lost. She has apparently become bored with her face and now attacks mine too.
