Random fact about boobs...

So, I am reading the book by Dr. Oz called You: Having a Baby.  It talks about fetal development, your health throughout the pregnancy, and providing the best possible environment for your growing child.  I was reading last night about how babies cannot see in color until they are about 10 weeks old.  From birth to that point, they rely on seeing the contrast in different items.

Dr. Oz explained that this is one of the reasons why womens' areolas get darker and larger before birth---so babies can see the contrast which helps them breastfeed.  Amazing!  So, while I am disgusted by my boobs, I'll just remember that they are like this for the baby!  LOL!
