WOOHOO for waterbirth

My midwife does waterbirths, and the hospital that I am delivering at has tubs for waterbirth along with classes that you have to take inorder to do waterbirth! YAY! Now I just need to find out if my insurance will cover that...how do I do that??

    I'd call them and check. My insurance doesn't specify what kind of birth will be covered. I think I just have to deliver in an in-network facility.

    My insurance (blue cross) will cover any hospital or birth center birth.  It doesn't cover classes. 

    Congrats on your waterbirth!  :)
