How long did you bleed afterwards? I feel like something is off because I practically quit bleeding as soon as I passed all of the tissue. Not even really anything on the tp when I wipe. Is this normal or do I just count my blessings?

    I bled on and off for about 5 days after I passed the sac.  I'm not sure if your case is normal or not but that is what I experienced.

    I spotted very lightly for a few days after passing all the tissue (or what I hope is all of it).  Afterward I had nothing for several weeks.  This morning I started bleeding a bit with small clots...Could be AF?  No clue.

    I bled for 9 days before passing a large amount of tissue one day, then bled lightly for 3 days after.  My doctor said some women go through the whole process in a matter of hours, others take weeks.  Call your doctor if you are concerned!

    I passed 99% of my clots/tissue Christmas Eve and the night of the 28th I passed one large clot. After Christmas Eve up to the large clot, my bleeding has been very little. More than yours, but significantly less, also after the clot passed it's gotten to be even less.

    I bleed a lot on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and today it's more or less like I have my period.

    I don't think this is unusual. After I passed it, my bleeding slowed way down. Then it would pick back up with small clots. Then it would stop and so on and so on. Yesterday was my first day with no bleeding. I hope this means its finally over but I know better than to get my hopes up too much.

    For me, the whole thing was relatively fast. Faster than I thought it would be. I thought the bleeding would be longer, it was really only from a Thursday to about Tuesday, and I thought the cramping would be less and it was extreme! I say consider yourself blessed if it's not that bad and over quickly.

    I think every m/c is different..

    1st one was period like bleeding Mon-Wed and then really sharp cramps and passed some clots on Wed & Thur and then spotting Fri & Sat.

    2nd one was completely different.. Heavy red bleeding (filling a pad within an hour) for 3 days and passed atleast 10 liver looking masses then spotted on the 4th day and then started bleeding all over again but period like blood on day 5 for another 5 days.

    The 2nd m/c really worried me because of the pieces of liver looking masses that I continued to pass.

    My bleeding started on a Wednesday, heavy off and on Thursday, light on Friday, very light Saturday and was completely over on Sunday.  
    Natural m/c 12/24/09. IUI #1 BFN. IUI #2 Chemical. IUI #3 BFN. Diagnosis MFI. IVF #1 BFP. Adriana 4/11/12.

    my mc started on Christmas.  I bled pretty heavily that weekend and passed what I thought was most of the tissue.  Then for the next week the bleeding was on and off, heavy to light.  I am now 10 days past the start and still have light bleeding.  Just went today and they said my hcg is less than 5 but I still need to go back next week for a draw to make sure it goes to zero....
