Back to school I will go

I was hoping to make it back to school for a few days at least after winter break.  My students were I hoping I won't because they'd rather my long-term sub grade their essays that are due that week than me and they think I'll be super mean if I come back and am still pg!  LOL!  Anyway, yesterday we had our 38 week appt. and NOTHING since our 36 week appt.  Head is still down, but I'm only about 1/2 way thinned out - which is the same as two weeks ago.  I guess I am getting my wish and my students are going to be SO sad to see me!

Just the opposite for me... I was hoping NOT to go back after break... little man still has 4 days to make momma happy LOL  If not I'll go back to a lot of happy little first graders for one more week... I know I'm crazy!!

The only reason I wanted to make it back was so I can stay on maternity leave through Spring Break.  And I NEVER go easy on the essays - which is why they were hoping I wouldn't see these!  I think several of them planned to procrastinate and do them the night before they are due...which I am a pro at catching them on (like it is hard to tell who spent time on it and who did it in 30 minutes).    Silly freshmen - but I love 'em!

I was hoping to go back after the holiday break but planning on not coming back.  Since my 38 week appointment shows no dilation and just some softening, I think I will go the full length of the pregnancy (Jan 14th.)

But I also would like to wait.  I want my maternity leave to go as late as possible, to run close to when I get out for summer break!
