Good, I am so glad to hear that. It sounds like you do have a nice evening going. Especially with the ice cream.
I did, a vast improvement over last year. It was so much fun. We had what constitutes as a "blizzard" here, but would be laughable elsewhere. So the four of us holed up and it was wonderful. How about you?

We had a nice holiday too. We visited Cole's family in Illinois and got our fill of snow and cold for the year, so that was good. Now we're just trying to enjoy the rest of our "holiday break" - despite the fact that I've been going into work everyday since we got back.
It doesn't sound like much of a holiday break if you are still going in. I'm glad that you had a nice holiday with Cole's family. I can't even imagine being in Chicago this time of year. I am so not a cold weather/snow kind of girl.
No big plans. We're pretty boring. Just doing a fancier dinner than normal (crab legs for me, prime rib for Lew) and then champagne at midnight...and maybe a cupcake or two.

I'm not one for snow either... every time we visit in the winter (or the summer for that matter) I'm reminded of why I'm so glad we moved to the northwest.
Your night sounds nice... we aren't doing much either, just going over to a friends house to hang out. They have a wee little one (~ 4 weeks old) so they aren't much for going out to party these days. Not that I am.
That will be fun. Sounds like a great way to spend NYE and that will be so fun to get to spend time with the little one. Don't miss the sleep deprivation, but I miss that age.
Lew just got home from his hockey game armed with cupcakes. Thanks for the compliment on the pic and for saying hi. Keep me updated on how you are doing.

Do you have big plans for NY tomorrow?
