Hair pulling!

Please tell me this is just a phase. Little one has started pulling my hair while he is going to sleep. I know he isn't doing it to be mean, but as a means for comfort to go to sleep but it's starting to hurt.

Any suggestions to help him stop? I try to hold his hand instead but he just goes right back to my hair.

    Not sure, my DS does the same thing...but I can't blame him my hair is pretty long (half way down my back).

    Yeah, DD is a hair puller too.  I'm already shedding horribly and it's not helping that she is pulling out handfuls.

    I just end up pulling my hair up in a ponytail and warning everyone else to do the same.

    Even though I wear my hair up my LO grabs the little hairs on the back of my neck. ouch!

    This!  I started keeping it down now because the little hairs on the back of my neck hurt worse than a clump of hair.
