Based upon a few recommendations here, I got the Sure & Secure Custom Fit Gate that expands to 12 feet. Is there a way to install it WITHOUT drilling holes into my wood staircase post and the wall?
TIA!

Someone had a way around this for any type of gate--maybe Denise2005? I think it involved a 2x4 and some zip ties, but I could be wrong. Ours isn't by the stairs so we drilled into the wall.
It was Denise, and I need to see her instructions again too. We finally need to get the bottom of the stairs gate up in order to give DD full run of our lower level.
Denise can probably explain it better & has pics too, but all you need is a board (2x2 or 1x2s), some padding of some sort, and some zip ties. You put them foam next to the wood and secure it with zip ties, then you can drill into the board to install the gate. Hope that makes sense!
