The wet cloth technique works for sore throats too: wrap a cold washcloth over the neck, cover with a towel, then cover with a scarf. Leave on for one hour while resting. It allows the blood to target the throat and, voila!, no more pain! This worked for DH--we try to be med-free as much as possible.
I think the hardest thing about avoiding medication is breaking the American idea that we shouldn't feel pain or that there is always a quick fix.
Re: *Hippi*
I totally agree with this statement. But I am also guilty of taking a large amount of meds to not be in pain.
But I'm for sure going to use these! I love them.

Will do for sure. I try to reach for my oils first and they really do help a lot. I love that Ryan has only had to be on antibiotics once in his life. He did need tamiflu when he had H1N1 but other then that he rarely has needed meds.
And even with all of Kate's health stuff we have been able to use a lot of homeopathic/natural remedies. I am very thankful.
Thanks for sharing! I love learning about natural health stuff.
