I had the same problem a couple years ago. I bent down to tie my shoe and couldn't straighten back out. My doc said it was a muscle spasm and that bed rest was the best thing. I found that laying on my back with lots of pillows under my knees helped. I have no idea what you can take

but I hope this helps you at least get comfy. It lasted a couple days then was gone as quickly as it started.
