sleeping all am = growth spurt? (repost from 0-3)

lo has been napping all morning since 715 am and it is now almost 1pm. anyone else's Lo do this? she is a week shy of 3 months. could it be a growth spurt or should i be worried? i know she would wake if she was hungry.

Well there is supposed to be a spurt at 3 months.. so it's very likely that is what's going on! Was she really fussy and hungry for the days leading up to today?
If she wakes up and seems fine for the rest of the day, I wouldn't worry..but if she keeps napping like that tomorrow too, it wouldn't hurt to ask your Dr to give her a look-see

She hasn't been eating any more than usual, so that is what is making me think it isn't a growth spurt.  I think she is starting to teeth.  We are also starting to give her the bottle, which she is not happy about because I go back to work on Monday.

Hmm, well I guess just keep an eye on her, which I'm sure you're doing. She could be coming down with a cold or something? My little guy gets really cranky and sleepy the day or two before he gets a cold :-(
