Having a Tough Day :(

I've been back at work full time for about 4 months now. Normally it goes well but today it's been hard. I miss my daughter so much right now. Not only that but FI and I are supposed to have date night tonight and go to a movie. I don't know if that has a role to play in me having a hard day or not. I know she's well taken care of and I know I should be thankful to have a 3 day weekend coming up but I can't help but be sad. Not only that but my mom called to tell me she fed DD some cereal and that DD liked it. I tried around 4 months only to have her look at me like I was crazy and decided then that I would wait longer. I knew my mom was going to try today and initially I was ok with it but for some reason it just bums me out even more. I wish Friday would hurry up and get here.

I'm sorry you're having a rough day.  Atleast there is a long weekend and you'll have extra time to spend with her. And you have a hot date planned for tonight? Woohoo! Think about that to get you through your day

What are you going to wear? What movie are you going to see??

I'm sorry mama.  I know it's hard to have others try new things with LO without you being there.  It makes you feel like you're missing out.  At least the day is half over and you'll be going home to your LO before you know it.

We're off to see Avatar. I really want nachos and a coke. It's just a few hours. I just need to buck up. What will I wear? oh man...that all depends on if I want to watch the movie or not

It will be okay!  I think all moms have days like this.  Just know the weekend will be here soon and you can snuggle with DD for three days!

I'm sorry. It does super suck that we may miss out on some of their "firsts" but it's ok. They'll do it again for us and we'll be just as excited :-).

Enjoy your date tonight with FI and don't beat yourself up. We're all great moms!

Thank you. It's 2pm...I have promised myself I would not drive my FI crazy by constantly calling to check up on DD with my folks.
