The Child Care center we were planning on is booked until Late December 2010.  WTH???

    Yeah... that happens because of how low the adult:infant ratio is in most places. It's probably worth getting on the list anyway. You never know if they'll have cancellations, etc. Good luck!

    It is crazy how that works. Put yourself on the waiting list though. Sometimes spots open up quicker than expected.

    Get on the list.  Most people get on multiple lists and then take the center of their choice, so TONS of openings are more available than you'd think, you know?

    Long wait lists were one of the reasons we went with in-home options. We couldn't find anything that would have an open slot until DD was 8 months old!
